Aldri før har flere menn ønsket å bli sykepleiere. På ti år har antallet mannlige sykepleierstudenter doblet seg. – Det er givende å kunne gjøre en forskjell for andre, sier sykepleierstudent Daniel Stabu Tørresvoll.
Andelen mannlige sykepleierne som oppgir å ha blitt utsatt for seksuell trakassering fra andre ansatte på arbeidsplassen, har gått markert ned de siste to årene.
– Det er fantastisk å se det første lykkelige møtet mellom foreldre og barnet. Den spontane gleden, latter, gråt, snørr og tårer, sier en av Norges få mannlige jordmødre, Paul Larsen.
– Mannlige og kvinnelige studenter er like opptatt av høy inntekt i sitt framtidige yrke, men kvinnene nedprioriterer drømmen om høy inntekt når de velger jobb.
Hver tredje sykepleier mener Anne Grethe Strøm Eriksen vil ha positiv innvirkning på helsevesenet. De mannlige sykepleiere er litt mer kritiske enn de kvinnelige. Det kommer frem i NSFs undersøkelse.
Det var mange som lurte på om Per Arthur Andersen hadde gått feil da han møtte opp som eneste mann blant 59 kvinnelige helsesøsterstudenter.
Da Peter Larsson ble far for snart 30 år siden, følte han seg satt på sidelinjen. Han bestemte seg for å gjøre noe for pappaene.
Snarere tvert imot, forteller sier Bjarne Jota – som ikke angrer på valget han tok for tjue år siden: å bli helsesøster.
Helsesøster Gregory Mauquet tror det er mange gutter som ikke tør å snakke om visse ting med en kvinne.
