Oksygenbehandling bør ikke lenger være rutinebehandling for pasienter med akutt hjerteinfarkt, men kun gis til ellers stabile pasienter med SpO2 < 90 prosent, viser nyere studier og oppdaterte internasjonale retningslinjer.

Vi lever lenger, har fleire samansette og komplekse sjukdomar. For å sikre gode og likeverdige tenester vil det vere behov for personell med høgare og breiare kompetanse og auka tverrfagleg samhandling i kommunehelsetenesta.
